Lucas County Community Corrections Planning Board (CCPB) was created in 1995 by the Board of Lucas County Commissioners. The members of CCPB represent a number of the critical agencies and systems that have an impact upon criminal justice issues in Lucas County. The CCPB continues to oversee the programs funded through the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) Bureau of Community Sanctions. In addition, the CCPB has accepted responsibility for having overall knowledge of the local justice system and community-based alternatives to incarceration. To further expand the knowledge base of the CCPB and to broaden the areas for CCPB involvement, the Lucas County Commissioners continually review and update CCPB membership, when needed.
